Cure Acidity Without Medicines

Do you often feel heaviness, bloating, and burning sensation after every meal, in spite of taking normal home cooked food? These are symptoms of “Acidity”. According to Ayurveda, Pitta imbalance in the body causes Acidity. There are 3 types of Doshas present in individuals i.e. Vata, Pitta, Kapha and whenever there is any kind of imbalances that occur in these Doshas, disturbances will start in your body.

Aniseed or Saunf: It contains volatile oils due to which it has anti ulcer properties and hence helps in improving the symptoms of Acidity and aids digestion. Chew 1 Tsp of Aniseed after meals .Decoction of Saunf can help in reducing your burning sensation which you feel during the bout of Acidity.

Cardamom or Elachi: It soothes the inner lining of stomach and hence reduces the effect of excess acid production. Boil 2 pieces of cardamom in a glass of water & have it for instant relief of Acidity.

Mint: It lowers the acid content of the stomach and has a cooling effect which reduces the acid reflux feel during acidity. Mint tea taken after meals will give you a great relief.

Ginger: The root is known to improve digestion and protect your stomach against ulcers. Crush a small piece of ginger & add small piece of crushed jaggery, drink this juice it really helps you in bloating happens during the Acidity.

Gooseberry or Amla : It work as pitta pacifier and it contains good amount of Vitamin C that helps in healing the injured stomach lining .Have 20 ml amla juice daily to keep you away from the symptoms of Acidity . 1 Tsp of Amla powder after the meals is also helpful.
